Yusuf عليه السلام


  • Dropped in a well - Standing water 
  • Someone will come to him يَلْتَقِطْهُ 12:10
  • Ends up in an Egyptian palace
  • Influential man has him 
  • Husband instructs wife to keep him 
  • Two options: service or adoption; decision: service
  •                                                                        أَكْرِمِي مَثْوَاهُ عَسَىٰ أَنْ يَنْفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا 12:21
  • She has misguided love for him 
  •                                                                                 وَرَاوَدَتْهُ الَّتِي هُوَ فِي بَيْتِهَا عَنْ نَفْسِهِ 12:23
  • Threatened with jail due to toxic love; disobedience in heart
  •                                                                                     لَيُسْجَنَنَّ وَلَيَكُونًا مِنَ الصَّاغِرِينَ 12:32
  • The aggressor is someone who loves him  
  •                                                                                                     قَدْ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّا 12:30
  • Raised without a spiritual mentor

Musa عليه السلام

  • Dropped in a river - Flowing water
  • He will come to someone فَالْتَقَطَهُ 28:8
  • Ends up in an Egyptian palace
  • Influential women has him 
  • Wife requests husband to keep him
  • Two options : service or adoption; decision :adoption 

                                                            لَا تَقْتُلُوهُ عَسَىٰ أَنْ يَنْفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ 28:9
  • He has guided love for him 
                                                                           وَأَلْقَيْتُ عَلَيْكَ مَحَبَّةً مِنِّي وَلِتُصْنَعَ عَلَىٰ عَيْنِي 20:39
  • Threatened with jail despite guided love; disobedience in actions 
                                                                                           لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ الْمَسْجُونِينَ 26:29
  • The aggressor is someone who loves him 
  • Raised with two spiritual mentors 
                                                                                                        قَالَ رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ 28:21
                                                                                                                   
                                                                                                                  وَنَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ 66:11
