Two Legacies Bound

Two legacies bound

Legacy of Musa AS is intricately tied to his ancestor Yusuf AS. Even the Egyptian elite recognized that there's a connection between the two.

The believer is making a reference to Yusuf AS so Pharaohs are familiar with Yusuf AS and his legacy. He continues and says that He (AS) came to you with clear proofs.

What are the clear proofs that Yusuf AS brought?

You bring proof for a case. To support your thesis you have proof. The proof of Yusuf AS is that he gets divinely inspired to interpret the dreams. The dream of a king which everyone else thought was a nonsense, was interpreted by Yusuf AS as 7 years of good produce followed by 7 years of drought. Therefore they created an entire economic policy & agricultural  policy based on the interpretation of the dream. They were able to stock pile and save food. After 7 years when the water is going to run out, they would be able to survive.

There was a clear proof that Yusuf AS had information about the things which human beings don't have access to. He is connected to a higher power. He is a Prophet of Allah.

When Yusuf AS is not shy to share the message of Islam while being in the prison. He has certainly shared it when he had the platform of minister/ governor of finance.

Clear sign in his case was the interpretation of the dream. By conserving water and by conserving the crop he was able to save the land of Egypt. So the signs given to Yusuf AS were the ones that saved Egypt. In contrast it's pretty incredible that the signs given to Musa AS were there to tell the Egyptians that get your act together or you'll be destroyed! The conservation of water saved Egypt and in the end it's the water that destroyed Egypt in the story of Musa AS.

Allah's teaching that something can be a blessing when you approach it the right way and the same thing will turn into a curse when you approach it the wrong way.
